Mango and sticky rice

                          If you like Thai dessert. I would like to introduce you to try Mango and sticky rice. That A good example of a Thai food dish that combines compatibility between savory and fruit.




 INGREDIENT
  • Sticky rice 2 cups.
  • Coconut milk 1 cup.
  • Sugar 1 cup.
  • Salt 1 teaspoon.
  • Medium yellow mangoes 5



  • Cooked coconut milk 2 teaspoons.
COOKING DIRECTION

  • Cooked 2 spoons coconut milk over low heat.


  • Soke the sticky rice in water for 5-8 hours.
  • Strain ,and place the sticky rice in top of double boiler.
  • Cook for 25 mins or until done.
  • In amixing bowl dissolve sugar and salt in coconut milk.
  • Add the cooked sticky rice and stir until well mixed.
  • Cover and let stand for 15 mins.
  • Peel the mangoes off the stone and slice.
  • Place on a serving place.
  • Top with cooked coconut milk.

Taro balls in coconut syrup

                             The one of Thai dessert that I like. That is Taro balls in coconut syrup.The Most Thai called this menu is "Bua Loi"












Ingredient

  • Cooked sieve taro root 1/2 cup


  • Rice flour 1 cup
  • Corn starch 1/2 cup
  • Water 1 1/2 cups
  • Sweet coconut milk 2 cups



  • Brown sugar 2 tables spoon.
  • Sugar 1/2 cup.
  • Salt 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Corn starch 1/2 cup (for shaping ball)

Cooking Direction
  • Scrub,rinse and pare taro root.
  • Boil until cooked and then drain.
  • Rub through sieve or stainer in to the mixing bowl.


  • In a pot dissolve rice flour and corn starch in 1 1/2 cups water.
  • Stir over low heat for 10 mins or until cooked.
  • Remove to a flat plate.
  • Knead to a dough.
  • Add the ground taro.
  • Knead again until well mix.
  • Form in to the little balls.



  • In another pot combine coconut milk sugar,brown sugar.and salt.
  • Bring to the bolling  point.
  • Add the prepare balls and continues until they are well cooked
  • Remove from heat serving dish .

Jelly with fruit salad

              Ohhhhh Ahhhhh ,Ohhhh,Ahhhh, Ah I was thinking that the sun moved closer to the world more than ever.because very hot!!!!!. ohhh,find something cold to eat. Ice cream? no no . that right Jelly with fruit salad.



   Ingredient
  • Unsweetened gelatine 1 teaspoon.
  • Sweetened fresh milk 1/2 cup.

  • Water 1 cup.
  • Syrup 1/2 cup.
  • Almond extract flavour 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Fresh fruit or fruit cocktail (1 can) 


  • Cracked ice 1 cup.
   Preparing
  • Soak gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water combine with sweet fresh milk.
  • Cook over low heat until dissolve.
  • Add almond extract flavour.
  • Pour in to wet 1 quart mold.
  • Chill until firm.
  • Serve with fresh fruit or fruit cocktail and syrup topped with crack ice.

Bamboo salad

                 Today I would like to introduce a simple menu to try to do. Does not require much equipment. Did not take time.This menu for women who want to control weight. Tah Tha .......Bamboo salad.




Ingredient
  • Bamboo shoots 1 1/2 cup cut in to small strips.




  • Lemon or lime juice 1 spoon.
  • Fish sauce 2 spoons.
  • The ground roasted sweet  rice 1 spoon.

  • Garlic and shallot roasted 1 spoon.



  • Chilii powder 1 teaspoon


  • Mint leaf 10
Cooking direction
  • Use the fork to shred bamboo.
  • Boil bamboo  10 -15 mins. and  then drian .
  • Pound garlic and shalot together.
  • In a mixing bowl combine bamboo, fish sauce, lemon or lime juice , ground roasted sweet rice ,chilli powder together.
  • Serving and topping with mint leaf.

Chicken rice soup

                     Tonight I plan to work done. I still do not know when will be finished. To prepare food available for the hungry. But I do not want to do the complicated menu. Let see which one I have.?? Ohhh not thing.  ahhh Have a good idea.





Ingredient

  • Rice 1 cup.


  • Water 3 cups.
  • Ground pork or sliced chicken meat. 1/2 cup.
  • Chop ginger root 1 spoon.



  • Fish sauce 2 spoons.
  • Pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Fresh spring onion and fresh coriander 1 spoon.
  • Egg 2.
  • Chicken bone soup 2 cup.
Cooking direction

  • Clean the rice well.
  • Add 3 cups of water in medium size pot.
  • Cook rice for 45 mins. to 1 hr. (low heat) until the rice is soft.



  • Remove from heat.
  • pour in to a bowl press with spoon until the rice be come small pieces.
  • Boil the chicken bone soup 2 cup 5-10 mins.
  • Add rice to chicken soup.
  • Cook for 2 mins add ground pork  or slice chicken and add fish sauce.
  • Break the egg into the serving bowl.
  • Put the rice soup on top of the eggs.
  • Sprinkel with ginger.sprin onion and chop coriander.


Shrimp and ground pork toast.

          This afternoon I was feeling very hungry and did not want to leave the house.What do the menu, The menu simple, convenient and fast. Ahaaa that right!!!! "Shrimp and ground pork toast."




Ingredients
  • Ground pork 1/2 cup.



  • shrimp (clean and minced) 1/2 cup.



  • Fresh spring onion 1 spoon.
  • Fresh coriander 1 spoon.


  • Fresh garlic 1 tea spoon.
  • Pepper powder 1/2 tea spoon.
  • Salt 1/2 tea spoon.
  • Carrot 1 spoon.
  • Vegetable oil 1 cup.
  • Egg 1.
  • Chilli sauce 2 spoons.
  • Slice bread 10 (2 day old).
Cooking Direction

  • In a bowl mix ground pork and minced shrimp with chopped fresh spring onion and fresh coriander, carrot,garlic,salt, pepper powder and egg.
  • Trim cut off bread slices and cut in desired shapes.
  • Spred the ground pork mixture over each.




  • Fry in deep hot oil for 2 mins.with the ground mixetured side down,turn over and continue cooking for 2 min or until brown.




  • Serve hot with chilli sauce enjoyyyy. haaa

Pork rib roast

                               Today I would like to recommend new menu. My aunt has just taught me to made "Pork rib roast". a menu that luxury. but not difficult.





Ingredient
  • Pork rib 1 kg. size pices 2 1/2 inch.



  • Pepper powder 2 tea spoon.
  • Soy sauce solution 1/4 cup.
  • Ketchup 1/2 cup
  • Wheat flour 3 spoon
  • Potato 1/2 kg.
  • Fresh onion 2 piecs ,slice 1/4 inch.
  • Tomato slice 2 cups
  • Salt 1 tea spoon
  • Cold water 6 cups. (for oven)
  • Pork oil 1 cup for frying.

Cooking Direction
  • Mixed the pork ribs with pepper powder,soy sauce solution,wheat flour,ketchup and then marinated 20 mins.
  • Take marinated pork ribs to fry.until cooked.
  • After that take pork rib to oven around 15 mins and then take potato,onion ,tomato around 10 mins.
  • Add salt and enjoy.
